I need to purchase a radiator...

I have a 96 Tahoe (V8, 5.7L) with 170,000 miles. I have a radiator leak and I tried the stop leak stuff but to no avail. The crack is on the plastic part of the radiator (on the driver's side). I'm looking for advice on the replacement radiator that I'm looking to buy here very soon. I was checking around on-line and I believe I saw a fully aluminum radiator (no plastic). I've come across my radiator on ebay for as inexpensive as $140 and I've seen them on other sites upwards of almost $400. I was planning on doing the labor myself so ANY advice would be helpful and much appreciated. Thank you.

Check your local parts places.
Most have a good price and good warranty on replacement rad.
Or call 1-800-radiator

Thanks, MT. I gave the guys at 1-800-Radiator a call and they quoted me $160 for a Modine radiator and $145 on a Reach radiator. They said both are OEM style (plastic cooling tanks). Can anyone speak on either of these names...? Thanks in advance...!!!

You are welcome.
Modine is a good old trusted brand.
I have saw a lot of Modine on OEM rad.
Also give AZ or any of your local parts places a call and check them out to.
Some times they can cut you as good or better deal.
Pays to check around.
Good luck.
