Hey guys I just read the thread about someone wanting a black cluster, and It reminded me of when I wanted to change mine too. I wanted blue, but I had no idea how to do it or where to go so my friend told me to go to Cartoys ( I hate them, BTW but I had no other idea of where to go) and they said the only way to do it was to buy an entire new cluster and that it would cost like 400 bucks! Obviously I said F this, so I just kinda forgot about it. But now that I have yall to talk to, is there any way that I can just change out the lights behind the cluster to make it blue or another color? The yellow/orange is cool but it doesn't match my radio or my LED shifter knob

So I guess no one knows? Oh well it was worth a shot asking. Maybe it will come up in another thread

well good grief, you only have an hour and a half for someone to respond. Most of the time it takes several hours to get responses on this forum because most of us are on 3SI. Anyways to answer your question, you can change the color of the instrument cluster, but you'll have to pull out the cluster, open it up, remove the bulbs, and solder in resistors and LEDs. Of course, you could just buy the reverse indiglo gauges (even though you'll end up having a white one), but those are a lot easier to install.
