fuel lines removel?

1992 buick regal 3800 eng,the two fuel lines on to of engine black rubber have cracks in them.how do i remove them? has metal part on ends of fuel line. ok i noticed under the rubber the fuel line is plastic our something.do i still need to replace since its just the outer rubber shell thats cracked?
