I have a 1993 Grand AM SE that my girlfriend drives and latley it has been stalling when she stops, it doesnt allways do it though. Just before it stalls she says that the speedomitor needle jumps, and the other day it was 'stuck' at 100 mph, even though she was going 35. It also has recently stalled on the highway, when she wasnt stoping. for a couple of weeks now the low coolent light has been on, but iv checked and the coolent isnt low. last spring i had the ignition coils replaced, and its ran good sence then, tell these problems started. o, she also says that the radio is turnning on and off by its self, its old and aftermarket, so im not sure if its even related.

Iv done some researching, and so far iv found that people have had problems with the "Mass Air Flow" sennsor. Could this be the problem? And is there any other sensors or anything i could check, before i have to take it in?

Sounds like the Torque Converter Clutch Solenoid (TCC) is going out. IT will make the car stall when coming to a stop.

An easy way to check is to unplug the large wire harness plug on the drivers side of the transmission. If the stalling quits then the TCC is whats causing this.

Also here is a link that shows how to replace the TCC DIY.

And the electrical gremlins could be from the aftermarket radio having a short of somethings loose. :dunno:
