89 blazer back seat wont fold

I cant get my back seat to fold for the life of me. I tried the release, i tried for force it, i tried to use a prybar. I am about to take the whole seat out to figure it out. If anyone has a trick, i would love to hear it.

If you stick your fingers in the corner of the seat, and feel around in there, you should feel a cable. Pull on it, and it should release it. You'll have to do it on both sides. It will at least get it folded down so you can work on it.
