Prolems: Static Noise at 5500 rpm in 2nd

Gents and the respectful ladies.....

Has anyone experience this problem with your engine? I have heard it twice and had not put much attention to it, but it seems to me that when my radio is on and I rev her to 5500 rpm in second gear, I start to hear this static noise. The kind of static noise that you would get from the radio. Can anyone help?

I notice also that my engine noise is now has a higher tone (shrieking) when I rev her. I am rather an agressive driver and usually shift gear at 4000 to 5500 rpm. Is this too abusive? Maybe I need a new muffler from Luke :p
