well to my dissmay i was not able to find the correct ac compressor belt for it, i do not have the old cuz it broke and lost it in the way home. well after going to the damn autoparts store 7 times i still do not have the right size belt. according to their computer the correct one is 15560, well would you believe it is too big. also i just want to make sure the ac belt should be on the ac compressor, then to the power steering pump, and then looped to the fan. correct? sorry but before i bought the car it was stolen and had the front clip and hood replaced due to accident. so i have no sticker under hood for me to look at. can anyone help me with this. is there a proper way to measure all three components to acquire correct size belt?

Crankshaft / PS pump / water pump / compressor. The correct size is 15555. You may need to adjust both the power steering pump and the A/C compressor to make it work. The crank to PS belt might limit the PS adjustment, so heads up. You generally WON'T get much extra adjustment out of the PS pump, but it might be just enough to make it work.

Do what I did if you can't figure it out... bring the AC pump to right in the middle of it's sliders. Take a sting & wrap it around the belt assembly as you would the belt. Tie it and take it off. Bring this to the auto parts store and have then match as closely as they can a belt to the size of the string.

i did try this method but they still could no match it up properly. i know have on a 15470 belt on it but as stated above not in correctly. now i have to figure it how to fix the ac compressor, since the clutch is acting up. any ideas. i was told to add oil and more freon! can this help it?

You need to put the right belt on it.
