missing link problem

i have a 93 del sol with a d16 boosted motor and i have the missing link for now and it work until i replaced the iac to fix the up and down idle and after that it stopped working and now my car reads boost and i cnat get it to stop and help on this stupid problem would be great. and one more ? what is the hole in the side of the missing link for cause if you dont cover it up my car idles like crap. Thanx.

Missing links cause nothing but problems. Bag the FMU/ML setup and get it tuned. For now though, I'm not sure why it would stop working. Maybe it's jammed or something and not letting the boost out.

what about replacing it with a check valve for now

why so many check valves before the map sensor? and so i need 2 map sensors to run check valves?

No. Just one and it needs to be an external, not a TB mounted MAP like some have. You need 3 check valves as a safety measure because the ECU only has maps for about 1lb of boost so you don't want any positive pressure to ever get to the MAP.

You need the external MAP throttle body and the MAP as well. Some Civics had it on the firewall and some had it on the TB. I'd say check a junkyard or see if you can find someone with it and swap it. They both work the same.
