98 sebring convertible dash vent wont open

my 98 sebring convertible dash vent wont open, I pulled most of the dash around it including the vent tube when I go from heat to vent it sometimes moves a touch but only about a quarter of the way I can push it the rest.
any ideas?

it was the vent motor calibration had to unhook the batt for 15 min when you rehook it will go to def then vent to cal itself
