Door Locks Make Sound when Key Is Turned On

I was turning my ign. sw. on and off to try and program a door lock remote. When I started the 1997 Tracer wagon several min. later, the door locks unlocked again and the service engine soon light came on. The light stayed lit after I shut off the car several times. The car ran fine with the light on.
I pulled the fuse for the engine sensors and left it out for several min., but the light stayed. The next morning I noticed that the battery tray had liquid in it. I removed the battery and cleaned up the liquid. I discovered that the liquid was oil and there was also some on the bottom outside surface of the air cleaner.
When the battery was reinstalled the car ran fine and the service engine soon light was out. Less than 1 week ago I had the air cleaner assy. out of the car and at that time there was no oil on it. Any ideas if the light and the oil could be part of the same problem.

unhooking the battery causes the computers flash memorie to be erased (such as check engine codes and sensors munfuctions) the oil in the air cleaner is a PCV valve (positive crank case ventelation) sticking and then it closed agian .. i suggest doing a full tune up on car just for a good mantence habbit.. or just replacing the PCV valce...it also could cause the light to come on.
