2000 integra - what to do?????????????

hey guys im currently lookin to buy a car and i saw this integra for sale year 2000, stick shift, great condition with 125,000 miles on it for 8,300. now i realy like this car and i wanna buy it but my whole family is saying dat das to many miles on a car especialy for that price, but the dealer said dat integras run good with 125,000 + miles on it. so i wanted to know what you guys think do u thinks its worth it, do they actualy run good with that many miles on it. juss lemme kno wha ya think thanks in advance

That price is a little high for that many miles. Try to knock them down at least $1,000. If they won't do it, find another car. However 125,000 isn't a lot of miles for an Integra generally speaking. As long as maintenance is kept up on it, it's probably at less than half it's life expectancy. I know it's not the same, by my '94 Civic finally got broken in at around 170,000 miles. I could actually feel it pick up in a little more power now, and I bought it with 168,000 miles on it. Acuras aren't like most older American cars, where 200,000-250,000 miles means it's on it's last leg.

Around here that is what you'd probably pay at a dealership depending on the model. You should definitely haggle though. Do some reading about these cars and go in there with more knowledge than just how many miles they have...

I got my '94 gsr for $4800 with 124k on it...it was in good shape inside and out
