Hey lookin to do this as well. How do the 00 - 02 corner lights stay on my 97 if i chop the corner lense bracket out like instructions say?

Because us 03+ guys dont have corner lights so there is no need for the corner light brackets.

There is a bracket that hold the headlights, fender and bumper all together. Been there, done this... It can be done without it, but i personally like doing things once and the right way.

See the silver bracket the pigtails are coming through and resting on? Thats the bracket you need.
I have a wiring diagram, but you loose your DRL's so it makes life easy. Then you just need an 00-02 bumper and trim some of the crush guard.

Id like to keep my 97 z24 bumper too, looks way better than the 00-02's.

Hoods 95-02 are all the same, brackets you can steal off one in a junk yard. I personally got mine brand new from dealership. Was like 60 bucks for the pair. You could trim your bumper around the lights to get em to fit, but it would be a pain in the ass.

the brackets just bolt on??? or you gotta weld?

they get bolted in place, no welding.
