Wondering why 98% of third gens have a certain problem

wanna talk about ugly, look at the 4th gens.

i like the facelifted 4th gens. i don't like the headlights of the early ones.

not a big fan of 2nd gens, they look good, but not as good as the others. 1st gens are the best looking in my eyes, they just look powerful and aggressive. i want one.

to me, 3rd gens look the best.

The two I had I really liked. I liked the Iroc better than the RS because of the motor.

my friend used to have an old '91 (or something) RS in white that he put a 454 into. only 3rd gen i've ever seen in england. it was a mean car, sounded mean, looked mean, and left every other car on the road for dead in a race.

They can all look ugly, they can all look good. If i was to put in order wich ones look the best, from best to worst heres how it would go (on average)


Camaros:

1: 1st gen
2: 3rd gen
3: 2nd gen
4: 4th gen

T/A:

1: 4th gen
2: 3rd gen
3: 1st gen
4: 2nd gen

The nice thing about third gens is they are the lightest and the cheapest. 500 pounds = 1/2 second straight line race, and if you do some bolt on upgrades they can stop and steer better. They are more aerodynamic than most modern exotic sports cars. I consider them the most upgradeable and interchangeable because SBC. Ive seen them with big blocks, older and newer engines ect. The engine compartment allows for just about anything you want, but usually you have pretzel for exhaust if you want it to sit down low.

When it comes to performance, third gens are probably the worst. The 2.8's and 305's are nothing more than a bad joke.

Well put, I should not have posted my comment but it bothers me sometimes that people forgive the analogy, speak before they think. :nono:
I am guilty of it but why say every 3rd gen is ugly. Some people think 4th gens are ugly. But to make a thread about it is useless.
