what rims are these?

From my perspective they look like volk te37 rims.. If they aren't volks what are they? I believe they are 4 lug, did they ever come in 4 lug? or are these knock offs? I think they look alright though.

I'm pretty sure they're TE37s. i don't think any silvias came with 4-bolt hubs, so it's probably just the light.

deff. rota. imo they look like crap .if you want the concave look pay and get rims that arnt some knock off. rota=honda....

I need a second set of rims, so i dont f-up the super advans. The chrome ones are bad ass, but damn those are nice. Im pretty sure those are 17x9.5 +25 all around. looks damn good to me.

after looking at the Rotas, they are different. the "curve" where the spokes come to the centre is larger than on the TE37s. if you wanted TE37s you may be able to get hub adapters or custom hub flanges to mount the wheels. i've seen it done a few times, we have a company over here than manufactures custom hubs to different bolt patterns.

The wheels in the first pic on the red S13 are Rota, they had a group buy on those wheels in 16x8 +10 on Zilvia a while back.

Personally i like Rota's i've had a few on Nissans and a few on Hondas.

And who would spend big money just to say i have Volks/Gram lights/Spoon/SSR's etc...when you could spent 1/4 or 1/2 the money for the same fit and finish wheels that to the untrained eye you will never know the differance.

My buddy had those rims on His S13 and he went and had the VOLK decal made and put it on there and not 1 person thought any differant. :2cents:

yea i got a guy who used to live here looking at them for me. He went back home so im able to get quotes on a bunch of shit now thats kind of hard to find in usa. Im sure any importer can get these though. It will just cost a little extra im sure for there hassle and shipping etc.

those look alright tho really. and for future reference you can order volks in what ever bolt pattern and offset you want for the most part

reason is becuase of build quality...check out posts about rotas that are used hardcore (the centers break out or the rims crack ;) )

and your friend should buck up and stop being a poser :nono:

^^^^(flicktitty) plus there is a huge noticebale difference in quality of good wheels. I guess you've never seen a good wheel before? You would understand......

the eye needs not to be trained to notice. Its night and day difference.

The Rotas I have now seem to like glue themselves to the hub everytime I drive around. I have to take a sledgehammer to them just to take them off the car after I take the lugs off.

Good thing I have Volks sitting in my room, I just need to do my 5 lug conversion.....

knockoff rims suck balls. it doesnt take a trained eye to know that those bent black 5spokes on your civic are rotas not spoons. spoon rims dont bend.
