2003 grand am horn problems

My husband is having problems with his horn in his 2003 grand am, it will not work, we have replaced the fuse and the relay still no luck. He is in the military and he has his vechile inspected and we need to fix this fast. If any one could help I would greatly apprecitate it thanks!!!!

Do you have remote keyless entry and does the horn beep for the split second when lock is pressed on the keyfob?
Check for 12 volts at the fuse socket to make sure it is present from the ignition circuits and ignition switch. Next the low side of the horn relay should be checked for a ground when the horn is pressed. Next step would be to access the two horns located under the right fender well area/apron and bench test the horns or check for the 12 volts from the horn relay at the electrical connectors.

yes i have a key less entry and no the horn does not sould when you hit the lock button thank you i will have him try it thanks so much

Ok that rules out the horn button at the steering column and the body control module (BCM) since that is the component that provides the beep when the RKE button is pressed. You problem sounds like it is from the horn relay to the two horns. Also, it is not uncommon for one horn to go bad causing both not to work. Good luck.
