Keyless Entry

How do I find out if a 1997 GST or GSX has keyless entry option. Since if you buy the remote and the car doesnt have the keyless entry option, there is a waste of money. Or do all 1997 GSTs GSXs comes with keyless entry remote.

I'm pretty sure all 97+ GST/GSX had keyless with the alarm. Do you have the homelink on your visor? If you do then you for sure have keyless because it came in the same option package.

i dont get it, i have homelink on my visor and i dont have keyless entry or an alarm, oh and its a 96.

Are you sure you don't have it, but just don't have the remote? What trim level is your eclipse? I guess it's possible to have the homelink without the alarm and keyless, but I'm pretty sure mine came as a package with those 3 things bundled as one option on the sticker.

Call the dealer and give them your VIN. They will be able to tell you everything about your car.
