Missed second, so I just put it in 5th and cruised down the track.

On to the video of the runs. Nothing special. Track prep was horrible as I couldn't hook for shit.
Car has gone 1.6 short times bogging. Couldn't get anything better than upper 1.8's last night. DA was very close to 8000 last night as well.

lots and lots of video footage.

big big burnout, then roll it off for like 20ft still making loads of smoke.

i love the roll-off when doing a burnout. it's awesome.

The density altitude was almost 8000 Wednesday night. I would kill for it to be 6000.

that's a pretty cool mount. i looked at some car camera mounts but they were all for outside, suction cups, booms and the like.

That is awesome! I've been looking for a while now for a high quality mount like the ones they have. Do you have any complaints about it at all?

Mr. Luos

Only used it twice. But not yet.
The strap that goes around the camera doesn't work well with my camera, but otherwise....

I'm sure it could be adjusted some to work better?... Is your camera too big or too small for it? I've got a Sony DCR-SR40 that I would be using on it if I got one...

Mr. Luos

Too small it seems. I didn't even use it. Just made sure the camera was mounted tightly.

Looks like the mount for my dvd player, except I bet its alot more stable, plus the camera is lighter.

A good solid run should always loose speed from the 1/8 to the 1/4.

I missed 2nd and just cruised 5th gear down the rest of the track. No need to beat on it once I missed it.
Still learning a new clutch.

What kind of clutch did you get this time.

Mr. Luos
05-20-2007, 12:16 PM
SPEC 4 with the SPEC billet steel flywheel.
Put it in about 2-3 months ago. Engagement point is different so I have to get used to it.

That is very true! I hace 23.6@34mph timeslip somewhere but i can't find it, it hopped bad and i let go and hopped again and kick itself out of the gear and i just rolled down to 1/4 mile on 4th.:D

Im not understanding why it shows a reaction time of 1.8. Clearly you left before that, cuz the 60' is at 2secs.

I must be missing something...??

z28 boy

ur actual ET doesnt start until u leave the littel sensors at the starting line.....his reaction time has no effect on the time the car runs.....it only tells u how long it took him to actually leave the sensors.

Mr. Luos
06-02-2007, 04:10 PM
I was really trying to focus on the run....didn't care about the light.
I wanted to make sure I was at certain RPM coming out of the hole. Paid attention to my tach, not the light.
Test 'n Tune night...the ET starts when you leave the beam.
