I'm about to change my brakes this weekend, and I would like to know what the best pads you can get would be.

With out going slotted or HD rotors and stuff like that
Aftermarket Wagner has good pads
Dealer OEM pads are also good to.
Check and see it your truck has ceramic or the HD metallic brakes.
May be best to stay with what you have on it.
The metallic are good stopping pads but may dust up chrome wheel and I am not sure the will work good with a ceramic rotor.

Factory OEM pads would be my choice.
The lasted over 95000 mi. for me.

Wagner makes the best brake pads and are not cheap.Stay away from ceramics, they eat up rotors and take along time to brake in.Stay away from cheap pads and they are not worth the money.Advanced and AutoZone are places to stay away from too. They have a lifetime warranty on their's and here is their lifetime warranty on their brake pads:one use only.My brother learned this,he got a set from Advancedand would not warranty them
