gonna have to be more specific than that. What aspect of fuel mapping are you looking for?

basically, what is it?

fuel mapping is the computer generated grid of variables that determine how much fuel to apply for a given situation. For a speed density setup, there will be a 2D grid, one side is intake pressure (vacuum) and the other side will be RPM. Which is relative load/throttle at that given RPM. It references the grid, say the engine is at 3K RPM's, and 80KPA, there will be a time amount stored in those vectors for how long the injectors should be opened for that situation.
Mass air systems are pretty much the same thing but instead of measuring manifold pressure, they measure the air flow entering the engine
alpha N uses the throttle position sensor exclusively in place of the MAF or MAP sensor. Usually reserved for race applications, because it will have poor drivability at less-than-WOT....usually
