I have a 2001 Pontiac Grand Am and I just had the brakes done yesterday and of course since today is Sunday no one is open. I am wondering if after you get your brakes done are they still expose to grind a little? Mine when i come to a stop i hear them trying to brake is that expose to happen?

No - you shouldn't hear any grinding. Check your discs to see if there is any ruts starting. Once a shop didn't secure all the parts of the pad down and one of the pins would occasionally push into the rotor and make that grinding noise.
