I was wondering if it is possible to do a engine swap with a maxima into a little sentra Spec-V? What are the measurements of the maxima's engine and the space of the sentra? If you could tell me , I would really appreicated it.

i was wondering the same thing. the spec does use the maxima transmission right? and then out engine is the bottom of the line altima engine. and the top altima engine is the maxima engine.

yeah, that is right , all of us want to know if possible if engine swapping from the maxima to an sentra be possible. The Transmission is about the same. 6 speed transmission and all, it should be okay, right.
Altimas are about the same and should have the same spec.
Any more information about these type of things is welcome, and please do tell for the rest of us stock Sentra Spec-V.

no, the 3.5L will not fit into the sentra.

So, if the engine in the Spec V is the same as the 2.5 in the Altima....

Then, the engine mounts in the Altima should be the same as the engine mounts in the Spec V.

If the 2.5 and the 3.5 both fit into the same Altima Bay...

Then they should also have the same engine mounts.

So... The 3.5 should fit into the Spec V.

In theory, it might work. But, in reality, I am sure it is not a direct fit. From what I have learned about this sort of thing... anything is possible, but most times, the costs $$$ outweigh the negatives.

Good idea... but I don't think it will fly.

1 body with multiple engines wont have the same motor mounts for every engine. The qg18, sr20 and qr25 all have different motor mounts, and im sure the qr25 and vq35 do too
