i can now legally puchase alcohol, cigarettes, and go to strip clubs.

Happy birthday. :lol: I remember those days, (albeit many many years ago.) I live about 2 hours one way, and 3 1/2 hours another way from the Canadian border. When I turned 18 it was still legal to purchase alcohol in our state, but the law changed a few months later to 19 then a year later to 21. My friend and I would make the trek to Canada to get beer and check out the strip clubs. It was great back then, although it was hard which side of Ontario had better strip clubs :lol: Now in the county I live in they just passed a resolution raising the age to purchase cigarettes to 19, (military personnel are exempt - 18 for them.) I guess you could say we had it lucky back then. Have a great birthday!

hah well i live about 30 minutes from quebec so i've been able to buy alcohol for a year now(drinking age in quebec is 18, ontario's 19), it's just that now i don't have to travel to dirty dirty Hull to get it. i've only been to one strip club, it was in montreal, and to be honnest i was a bit disappointed, 2/4 of the girls were hot, the other two were ok, and they didn't do a whole lot, not to mention the drinks were rediculously expensive. i'd rather pay $10 go to an engineering party and hook up with a girl than pay $7 per beer to watch some girls walk around nearly naked.
