Center Console removal

How do you remove the center console on the SC300? It is a 1997 and I have no idea. I am assuming that you just pull the top part off (being held on by clips), but I do not want to break it. Is this correct?

Got it. You have to remove the ash tray there are some hidden screws there, lift the plate from around the gear shift (just pry it up) hidden screws about four I think. That should have it loose on the bottom portion. On the top where it attaches to the dash area just pull and be careful. There are only metal tab clips holding it in place and it is out.
