Our GMC Yukon randomly doesn't start, it just clicks when you turn the key. If you wait a few seconds and try again, it starts. The battery is fine. It used to be very random, every couple of months or so, now it's happened twice in a few days. Possibly the starter or ignition switch?

Is the click from the starter solenoid if so this is the problem, also check for bad battery cable connections. If all ok, see if there is 12v to the starter solenoid wire if, not possible trans range sensor or ign switch. Post back the year also.

very likely the starter (or more pointedly the solenoid contacts) is bad. Of course, further diagnostics would be needed to rule out all other possibilities, but I feel pretty confident in saying, replace the starter

If your Yuke is pretty new then it could be a security system problem...
(what I mean is electrical weirdness)
The system over rides your ability to start the car so it clicks instead...
maybe not, but it's common...

actually, the security system doesn't prevent the motor from turning over, it kills spark (or fuel, I don't remember which) but does turn over
