Air Bag Code 42

Anyone know what an airbag code 42 is???

Hello:
The code refers to the left front sensor. Usually it is a corroded ground connection where the sensor mounts to the body panels or core support. Once the problem is corrected,the light will go off by itself. Unlike a 'check engine' light, this system will reset itself immediately and not after a quantity of ignition cycles. The airbag system continuoously monitors itself for faults and on Fords, will reset automatically once a fault is corrected (unless it is after a deployment).

Dugan50- I think we have already said that it is the left crash sensor. The funny thing is you posted on my taurus airbag question and your posts are identical word for word. But i guess i appreciate you repeating information already in the post (in both posts)
