Stock Mustang Cobra VS. Base 3000GT

Ok so this kid just got his dad to buy him the 2003 black supercharged cobra mustang a month ago, he wants to race my n/a base 3000gt, all i have is my intake full exhaust downpipe, underdrive pulley. He wants to race me for $100, now I know his car is fully capable of running 12's but he wont shut his mouth and hates imports, thinks my cars worthless so he will give me 12 car lengths and the move/hit for the race. Do you guys i have a change in a race with a high 12 car with my 3000GT even with 12 lengths and the move..... :confused:

Good news everyone last night the kid showed up at steak and shake and was like yeah i got my car tonight lets do this or you going to pussy out, so fortunately i was with my buddy that has the tt stealth with 15g setup, and we were like why dont you race a stock stealth tough ass. He's like 3000gt stealth same shit there wannabe sports cars, and stealths are a disgrace to muscle cars anways. We're like sure dude 200 bucks what do you say all his friends are like "cmon ryan do it, do it, there heavy cars, and your have a supercharger", ha! Long story short the stealth smoked him by i wanna say 4-5 car lengths. Needless to say the kid paid up and spun his tires as he left trying to be all big and bad. :banghead:

That's fucking awesome. I mean it's rare that one of these stories gets posted up here and the race actually happens. The fact that you shoved his foot down his throat just makes it that much sweeter.

not yet...as of latest news they are still taking bids to see who gets to buy it. Looks like it will most likely be Magna, a canadian company. :frown:

as for affordable 2dr rwd....the challenger has been slated for production probably for 2009 IIRC.

So yesterday 4th of July we had this little car show by Steak and Shake, and that really cocky kid with the daddy's cobra came back, but i guess now his dad bought him a gold 03 trans am ws6 for his 19 birthday, kids talkin mad shit like oh you know i got this new car im running straight pipes blah blah blah. I was like thats cool, he's like yea wheres your guy with the stealth TT at i was like oh he's at his family bbq, kids like i wanna rerun him but now with my own car ill smoke that POS emabarassment of an american car,

I got my buddy to come race him for the same $200 race as before, but this time we gave the gave the kid the hit/move because he's rear wheel, anyways my buddy scott beat him by 5-6 car lengths, it was awesome the kid was like oh yeah wait till I'm done building the car ill smoke you then, im like sure dude when my dads done building me a 9 second 3000GT, ill def. race you too. He's like yeah whatever talk your shit damn ricers and left ha.......

I dont know who taught him bout cars, but he was going on and on about the straight pipes being loud, and how hard it pulls now, he was guessin the 30-40 hp range, i was like man the day a 400 custom exhaust puts on 40 hp, sign me up

I dont know his dad own's his own "America's Used Car Lot", like thats what the place is called, you will never see a euro or jap car there, its crazy they only sell American cars, they might take in 1 or 2 imports, but from what i hear they dont offer much for them, yeah the kid thinks muscle cars are a gift from god, and is always ranting about how turbos are an excuse to make ricers quick. I think this kid is actually mistaking what a ricer is. He thinks of it I think as a Japanese car when in fact a ricer is NOT ONLY someone who puts ricey things on their car but also has that attitude that I can whip the shit out of anything that comes my way, which is exactly how he acts. I would say he is a ricer that hasn't come out of the closet yet and protects his insecurities by trying to polk fun at others who aren't even in fact ricers in order to make himself feel better and more secure inside. But thats just my analysis. :p

Scott has the 15G Setup on the stealth, full exhaust, alcohol injection, intercooler, car is gutted out besides 2 front seats and some other mods i mean he runs flat 12's at the track all day, he's getting the car better tuned next week on an awd dyno to hopefully be in the 11's and buying much better tires.
