Probably a stupid question...

Just wondering if you can connect a smaller gas tank to a 1993 suburban. I put in $85.00 the other day and it didn't even fill up. I know it's a 42 gallon tank. Wondering if I can make it a 30?

Not sure if you could change the tank or not. But why would you do it?? Just so you don't have to put so much gas in?? So, you go to the gas station more often and still spend the same money?? I remember the 1st time I filled my '98 Sub (44 gal tank) at Costco. 3 Imports behind me filled and left before I was done. Would I change a tank to a smaller one?? NO

Very true and I understand it completely 77. The problem is my evil side(wife) thinks it just feels better when she only pays $50 rather than $100. I see her point but I agree with yours more. This was more or less a question for her so she can get off my back:).

To keep wife happy just put 50 $ at a time in it.:grinyes:
But never let it get much under a 1/4 tank of fuel so the fuel pump will remain happy and live a long life.
People that let there tanks run low replace a lot more fuel pumps.
Good luck
