Peugeot WRC 206 front grill question

Hello, Everyone,

I'm in the process of finishing a Peugeot 206 WRC car and I'm having trouble doing the front grill using the mesh provided by Tamiya. You are directed to cut the mesh out and then spray paint the "206" onto it. I got the Renaissance stencil for the "206" and I sprayed it and it came out very blurry. Now I'm left with very little material left to work with. I have two questions:



1. Is there a substitute I can use for the mesh material? Most photoetch stuff is a little too large. What do you use and, if you use the Tamiya material, how do you cut it?



2. How do you spray or paint the "206" onto the material?

I used photo etch for the mesh, the material Tamiya supplies is totally incorrect if you look at reference photos, there is P/E mesh available which looks correct.

As for the spraying the '206', I did so without any issue, just use an airbrush on a low pressure setting.
