92 S10 4x4 with intermitant starting problems

So this is new... It will start on the 2nd or 3rd key turn. It cranks but won't turn over immediatly. Doesn't happen all the time either. I noticed it running at a high rpm until it warms up. I'm confused. Distributor cap is fine and I just changed plugs, wires and air filter.
Any ideas are appreciated.

Any codes or check engine light?
Fuel filter or fuel pressure been checked?
