Well, I'm no expert but i don't think that mounting should be angled like that. From the looks of it it's pulling one side more than the other which could explain the uneven braking...

Which ever side isnt working, the e brake cable hooks up on the arm behind the rear facing brake shoe. You'll have to remove your wheel and the drum and have someone pull up on the handle to see if the cable is pulling or not. if it isnt pulling replace the cable theres no way to fix it, if it is pulling, watch the arm it attaches too to make sure it moves. And lastly now would be a good time to replace the brake shoes if ya need to... hope this helps....
ps clean your car...lol j/k

Mine used to do that when I had drum brakes to, but I've heard that only 1 wheel is supposed to lock up. However now with disc brakes both sides are even. It might actually be the length of the ebrake cables. My old trailing arms are in my basement I could go measure the cables possibly.

ok, both cables work fine, its just that one is longer than the other..... Is there a way to shorten the length of one of the cables from the inside of the car?

I really dun wanna pay for this job, cause its not a biggie to me, but i am anal about little things..... cause the wires work, i just wanna shorten the length from one of the cables. Can i do this from inside the car? from the bracket side.... like i wanna disconnect it and shorten it and it will be fine rite?

Why does it matter? I used to be able to do 180s with the ebrake when I had drums, now with discs it doesn't do it anymore. Be glad one is shorter.

LOL, I thought I was the only one. When I got my brakes redone at pepboys a while ago cause the pads were low they ajusted it so now both wheels ebrake, instead of just one like it was before. Pretty good stuff:cool:

Mine does the same thing! I replaced my brakes and it's a little better but I think it's cause the cables stretch.
Melt, I'd b careful about them adjusting ur brakes to fix the ebrake. The rear brakes r self-adjusting & if u adjust 1 side more than the other to adjust ur ebrake then that side is just gonna drag more & wear out twice as fast.
