dumb question about posting

how do you post a pic

pictures can't be posted directly on this forum; they would need WAY too much storage space.

first step is you need to have a website to host your pictures; there are some free ones out there..

Second step is inserting the code in your post to link to a picture
you would type

[img} www.website.com\picture.jpg [\img}

when the post is viewed; the picture will be displayed where your image code is placed.

NOTE in the example above I used 1 square and 1 curly bracket. USE BOTH SQUARE brackets when you do this; I just did that so you could see how it looks

I may be wrong, but I thought there is a gallery somewhere at this site that members can download thier pictures and then you provide link to your gallery photo's. I remember doing it once, but I can't be certain that it was at this forum. Seeing that it was pictures of my 1998 chevy silverado, and I don't use any other automotive forums. I would be 99.9% sure it was here.
