I noticed theres a sort of "rattling" sound comming from the front drivers side tire whenever i go over small bumps (road reflectors for example), like somethings loose. im thinkin it may have to do with one the shocks. any ideas???

If it's anything like mine, it's probably the brake pads. Mine has a rattle anytime I go over a bump, unless I am lightly tapping the brakes while doing so. It's been this way since I got the car 5 years ago.

check your hub cap that covers the ball bearing

Theres supposed to be a "thing" on the pads to keep them from rattling, like a spring clip. If that's rotted out or not tight enough then the pad will rattle. If it is rotted, no big deal because when you purchase new pads they come with the clip already attached.

let me make a lil more sense sorry for the confusion, on the front disks or rotors what ever one wants to call them theres a cap that covers the ball bearing, might be wrong but i think its called a dust cap. i had the very same problem and my dust cap had came off the bearing hub, causing the noise.
