Fiero wiring Question

Hello,
I Have a 1986 Fiero SE V6.
We Swaped engines with a 1995 Century.
The Problem is:
I have 2 wires that "power up" when brake is applied and 1 wire that "Powers down" when brake is applied.
These wires come from under fieros dash.
I have a wiring diagram BUT the (2) that "power up" DO NOT light the brakes when they are connected to where the diagram says.
Also they are not the correct color, according to the diagram.
They are however the only 2 lines that "power up with brake so I have tied them into turn signal lines, but then I do not have turn signals with brake.
Can anyone help with this.
