I was fixing my subs and accidently dropped one side of the terminals connected to the battery (red side) for the sub onto a metal piece on my car and i hear a loud *pack* sound. after that had happened i started up the car and put down the e-brake the battery light, e-brake light and a weird orange yellow light above the ABS light (looks like a cage thing?) came on for about 5 seconds then turned off and as i was driving every time press down the clutch the rpm would drop near 0 as if it was about to die, i stalled once while i was trying to change gears =( When i am in neutural and just sittin in a parking lot it seems to be fine but i looked under the hood when i got home and there was a decent amount of acid built up around the red part of the battery terminal thing. do i need a new battery or did i mess up something with the electrical stuff? thank you for reading this. i'm a car noob haha

Try disconnecting the battery and cleaning up the posts and connections.

tried cleaning them off. i tried starting it again and when i started it there was this loud grinding noise and when i let off the clutch it goes away. and i noticed when its in neutural the idle is normal but when i get it into gear and start moving and press down the clutch the rpm shoots down like its about to die. i think it might have something to do with the clutch but after starting and re-starting the car it died completely and had to jump start it.

Ruined a many a batteries in such a manner , as for noise.. probably because the car is running irregular due to voltage issues , it kind messes with the clutch and tranny and makes marble like sounds.
I would take my battery to get tested , if bad - > Get another battery and double check all your fuses.

from the looks of it, your battery has been damaged, you can test it, once your moving your battery is using more power thats why your losing power and stalling out, either get it tested to see if thats the problem, or buy a new battery.
