Help

My car was running fine. I just drove about an hour and i turned it off to wait for someone to get in and then when i restarted it, it sounded like a constant grinding when stepping on the gas. After shutting it off, it wouldnt start and wouldnt even turn over.. it just gave a grinding noise... i put some oil in it thinking that might be the problem but no such luck. Any suggestions? 2002 ZX2 5,000Miles

just a guess but i think that it maybe the flywheel. regardless, take it to Ford

Im not sure of the problem but mine is similar. Sometimes when i turn my car on i hear a grinding but not heavy, kinda like a small chain being dragged n rough metal but it always turns over. I read that the zx2 tranny sucks bad. Could that be it?

I got a problem sometimes when I go over a bump, not even a big bump. my car wants to die I loose all power and it jumps. I think it has to do with wireing but im not sure. HELP!! if you know anything e-mail me at [email protected] THANKS!

rjx2 first off I would just check the battery cables and hope for something simple.
