air ride system?

does any one know how much does it cost for the air ride system it self and how much is it for installation. i was thinking about putting airbags on my civic but i dont know if it messes up the ride quality. please help me out guys

I know its alot for a good one. I'm not too sure about how bad your ride would be but nothing like it should be airbags arn't that comfy :alien2: Plus if you want to race it ever you can't with airbags its dangous.

1200 bucks, dont know about instalation ride at half full or half empty however u look at it and the ride is good all the way down and all the way up sucks....
never heard racing with bags is bad cause i know lots of people that do it

You know ppl that do real racing with bags? I heard from someone who did installs for air bags that said bags could blow on the turns and sohuld never be done. What type of racing do they do? it might be fine for drags but i'm talking about autoX.

they wont brak becuase on civics they use air cylinders not bags. the only problem is that it rides like crap. but if you set it just right you wont have a problem with the way it rides. if you mount the vavle near the cylinder then you wont have as much free flowing air, opposed to mounting the vavle in the trunk. its not gunna be perfect but it possible to rqce with bags, iwouldnt though.:)

it doesnt ride bad if u ride at half full cause it gives the air to move and absorb the bump
