Lanos air conditioner

Trying to fix the Air on my friends Lanos... 1997 I think? I don't remember
Air is not blowing cold...
Have checked all fuses. When you turn the air conditioner on, the compressor engages but still no air. When you move the air hot/cold knob to hot, air gets hot, back to cold, no cold air. Took the little cap off the refrigerent line and pressed the pressure release and it has a heck of alot of refregerent pressure...So, not sure where to look next.
