Hi guys,

Here are some pics of my Tamiya Brabham BT50 driven during the 1982 seson by my hero Nelson Piquet. Been busy with this kit for a while now. At the moment its 'back in the box' because i am having some difficulties with decals. Anyway, chassis is almost ready:

Bas, the progress so far is looking very good! Hopefully you can fix the decal problem soon. You should be able to get replacement decals at the moment if worse comes to worse?

Actually Studio27 makes decals for this kit and includes several versions not available on the Tamiya kit.

Thanks for posting Bas. :)
S27 released a replacement decal sheet for the BT50 a while ago, might be worth looking for if you need new decals. You definitely need to sort those difficulties out because everything else is absolutely brilliant so far. :)

Edit: Nic beat me to it. :p

The extra details you have added to the engine look great, be sure to show us more as you progress! What are you using as ref pics?

Absolutely brilliant! Puts mine to shame, haha. Can't wait to see the finished product.

Thanks guys! Maybe i can solve the problems with the standard decals, otherwise i will look for aftermarket ones.

Reference i use are some books (F1 yearbooks and R. Schlegelmilch's F1 book) and some pics from the web, altough its hard to find good pics (most are BT49 (Ford)
