I started a WIP thread on this kit nearly 3 years ago and I have finally got around to finishing it. Here is the thread - http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=191485&highlight=Brabham+BT50
The decals were bought from F1 specialities as the originals were damaged, but they are not as glossy as I would have liked. I now notice that I have forgotten the mirrors and that the decal on the roll hoop has torn as a result of taking the body off.

More brilliant work, will make an excellent addition to your collection of F1 models. :)
Just one small suggestion if you want to take your already high standard of builds to the next level. Take the time to fill in the ejection pin marks on the floor of the undertray and the mold lines on the oil tank. Small things like that really stand out when the rest of the model looks so realistic.

Thanks!
I usually fill the ejector pin marks, but for whatever reason I have forgotten to do so on this kit.

Another great build from you.
Great memories. This car is from the period I started following F1. And as a Nelson Piquet (the old guy, not his son) fan I really like this car.
In fact I built it once in "the old days". I recently uncovered it, but seeing you build, I think I'd better use it for spare parts.
I really like the weathering on the exhaust. Very subtle, yet very realistic.
Great build !
