Coilovers!

Holy shit, the front of my car is DUMPED! I installed coilovers on the front of my car today. I am just testing, on the lowest setting. :eek:

Now I have problems with my 4-1 header, it hangs too low! So I have scraped it quite a few times allready. But damn, that shit is low.

Also, I was looking at the front control arm. I dont think it would be THAT hard to make a camber kit. I will post up on what I think about that in awhile.

Get some pics. I have heard that 4th g hatches sit really low with coilovers and steelies. Just haven't seen it.

I have an Ingalls Camber kit on the front and washers in the rear so I have less than 1* of camber on each wheel. However now my rear hits the lip (I need to roll my fenders), and my front has the Polyurethane bushings on the camber kit and the ride is rough as hell.

how hard was the ingallus camber kit to install?? i so need to fix my front camber. Im gonna fix my rear this weekend with the washer trick.

my car sat lower than all of those cars i rarely scraped (avoided places that seemed risky) and i was tucking the top 1" of my tires on my 13" steelies and about 2" of the top of the tire on my '88 Si's

(I also had no camber problem at least not visually u could tell by tire wear but not visually looking at my car.

Damn! yall must be lucky to have streets in good condition...
Here where I live, the streets are in good drivable condition for about 10 minutes after they're paved... then suddenly without warning, they all have pot holes like 6feet deep (graves for cars I suppose?)... plus almost all the parking lots have HIGH speed bumps...
I couldn't dare to go around here with a car that low!

Our roads suck, I just drive slow.

I will be raising it up some tomorrow when I throw on the rear discs.

damn that things dumped...my header would be permanently attached to the ground if i was that low :D
