Help Oil Smells Like Gas???????

1997 CAVALIER WITH 2.4L CATALIC CONVERTER WENT BAD,REPLACED,AND NOW RUNS BAD.RUNS EVEN WORSE WHEN ITS WARM AND EXHAUST AND OIL SMELLS LIKE GAS REAL BAD? TRANSMISSION SHIFTS DIFFRENT ALSO(KINDA HARD).

As far as the oil and exhaust smelling like gas, this can be caused by a bad flooding problem, the gas will run down pas the piston rings and into the oil pan. If this has happened you need to change the oil right away, the gas will actually remove the oil from the engine parts that need it so bad. As far as the way it is running I don't know, do you have any warning lights on?
