2000 mustang flashing airbag code

I have replaced airbags and clockspring on a 2000 mustang. The original module flashes a code 19. I bought a used module with the same part # and non-deployed bags. This module now flashes a code 35. I figure the 19 code would be a crash memory, but I have no idea what the 35 code would be. Thanks, Steve

Hi Steve:
On your vehicle the code 19 was a full crash memory circuit.
You needed to replace the RCM which you did. It should have corrected the problem. Now if you have a code 35, you are looking at an open circuit inside the vehicle. Are you sure you installed the clockspring properly? Was it a new one also? Did the light go out after the RCM and come on after driving it a while? All of the code 30's problems are inside the car. All of the 40's codes are outside the car. Check your connections and make sure you installed the new clockspring with the wheels 'straight'.
