Hi Pals

I just finished this painting under comission for a great Ayrton Senna Fan in Japan, I made it with acrilic and oil painting, over a 48" x 36" canvas.

I hope you like it as much as I did painting it. if you have any comments or suggestions, please let me know.

here are some other samples of my work, during a gallery show, all of them were comissioned paintings for specific customers, I only kept the ferrari painting for me.

hope you like them:

Hi,
no, I don´t have a website, I would love to do this as a way of living, but I really do this only under comission on my weekends, if I make it as hobby (for me) it takes me too much time to complete my complete artwork. =)

Right now I´m starting a Mclaren Mercedes painting, for a Kimi Raikonnen fan in the UK, he asked me to paint 2 similar paintings, one with mclaren and one with ferrari in similar or same angle.
I´m more afraid of the mclaren painting, because of all the details that the chrome paint of the F1 car that reflects all the environment on the track.
I´ll post snapshots of the advance.

Best regards

Very nice. Your detail is outstanding!

How do you get that detailed with oil? It looks like a pencil color drawing.

Just Beautiful! B

Hi,
thanks.
the fine detail is made mostly with acrylic, the oil is used for larger areas and shades, but it requires a lot of patience and time.

Great stuff, amazing. And you really need a website with talent like that. Do you not host your work online due to legal reasons , or just never got around to doing so?

PS, I was going over Senna's death on the web. So many conspiracy theories regarding that tragic event. I wonder what really happened.

Hi Again

I never knew about legal reasons for painting vehicles or racing scenes, are they? please give some advice on this topic.
I really don´t have a website dedicated to my artwork, because I do this like a hobby, not my real main job, I do this under comission and a few ones for my home, I´m planning to add my artwork with artwork of other artists dedicated to racing and motorsports to my website, as an addition to my other work.
my primary job is to make Formula 1 items, like helmets, large scale models, and some strange stuff for the racing enthusiasts. you can see a glimpse of my work here in this thread:
