1990 stalls when floored

my 1990 camaro will not idle and when given gas it will stall after a certain amount is applied. can't figure out the problem. it also floods at idle. Put new mass airflow sensor, tps, and some other sensors on it. im thinking it may be fuel pump. Any ideas..

Test the fuel pressure and check for vac leaks.

1990 (V8 TPI) Doesn't have a Mass Airflow Sensor (MAF). Did you mean you replaced the Manifold Absolute Pressure sensor (MAP)? Try checking the fuel pressure, if it is low, replace the filter first. Also look at replacing the coolant temp sensor (the one on the front of the intake manifold), they cost about $7 at Auto Zone and the like.

This is a late 1989 model that was classified as 1990.
the tittle as a 1990.

coolant temp sensor was replaced. will check for vac leaks and fuel pressure

no vac leaks and fuel pump replaced. didnt help. changed the distributor and it fixed the missing jbut it still floods and will not take alot of fuel without stalling. Any more ideas .

Without knowing what the fuel pressure is, its hard for us to figure out if the fuel system could be at fault.

Does the check engine light come on?

Did this problem suddenly happen, or did it slowly get worse over a period of time?

Have you done the simple things first like fuel/air filter, plugs/wires PCV valve ect?

How do you know its flooding? did you pull a plug and smell gas or something or is it pouring out?

If its flooding the check engine light would have came on with a code of a rich condition....

The details you have given arent enough for us to figure out the problem.

For example, if i were to say "did you see that one movie with that one chick, what was her name?" you wouldnt have any idea what i was talking about other than some movie wich had a female in it.
