need a tip

was just wondering i own an acura rsx(integra type s) and i wanted to know if it was more worth my while to rev my 1st gear to 7000rpm and shift to second or better to rev to 7900rpm then shift. will i acheive the same acceleration or is there a substantial difference

shift at 7000 rpm, if you rev too high, youll lose hp. and you'll bee to high in 2nd gear to gain any speed. its called overrev.
