04 Exhaust

So a few questions does not seem like any one talks about exhaust in depth on any silverado forum. I want to get somethign that will sound really good, loud and mean. What is the best bang for my buck, do I go to a exhaust shop and have them build me exhaust with flowmasters, order a gibson one, or try these new predator systems on ebay that are fairly priced and sound like they ma meet me needs. If anyone has heard different exhausts on these trucke let me know just want to get the right one the first time. 4.8 engine in my truck

I have an '04 Avalance 5.3, with 3" and a magna flow muffler, it is louder that factor, but a mellow tone, not ratty like a flow master will give you, but it still sounds good.
