hi there,
i have been told that possibly the real wheel bearings in my 2000 / W reg matiz must be damaged as there is slight whirring noises at high speeds usually from the rear & inside the vehicle cabin. everything else seems fine.
i was told also, only a qualified garage can do this, but can it be easily done by a mechanic?.
it's been like this for some weeks now....is it a matter of urgency to be sorted?.
what is the effects of the car in this state?.
many thanks.

the matiz does suffer from an annoying whirring sound eminating from the passenger side vent at 50mph+ (depends on conditions) it's not that is it? if so... good news, nothign wrong with your car (other than it being a matiz) bad news, there's nothin you can do short of turnin up the stereo!
a fellow matiz sufferer!
