just wondering if it would be worth advancing the timing on my 06 specv i have easy access to consult 2 and can do it just wondering if it was worth it or if the gas mileage will suffer a lot or performane issues.....

if you advance your timing, run at least 91 octane

i have only been putting 91 octane in it since i got it. im pritty sure that consult will only let you do it like 2 deg or something like that so im sure i will be fine. i also dont live where it gets really hot so that will help ill try it and see i can always change it back and im still under warranty for a long time so that will help too

i was also wondering if i should wait till i get a cai because ive been reading about how the qr25 starves somewhat for air at high rpms.....

CIA is the best way to start out your modding. Trust me, read all you want, you have about 1000 opinions to say otherwise. Go for the CIA.

lol yeah, the best dollar for dollar mod besides a clutch/flywheel combo is a cold air intake
