Accelerator pedal connected to the vacuum system???

Just wondering if anyone has this if it is normal or if it is a leak of some sort. When I accelerate the pedal makes a sort of hissing sound. then when i reach the speed i want to be at and let up on the pedal, it makes the noise again.:screwy:
