'99 lumina ltz. I've got controls for the radio on my steering wheel that work the factory radio. I was thinking about installing an aftermarket stereo and wondered if the SW controls would work an aftermarket radio? thanks

thanks for the reply. I've got a '99 lumina LTZ. I don't see that vehicle listed on the website you provided. Got anything else? Also, if I install the new headunit (and don't use the steering wheel controls) will the controls still work if I re-install the factory unit? thanks

**for the record, I've got a JVC KD-LH910 headunit

I think that was just a sample site ..... go directly to the PAC site for all of their models.

Putting in new stereo will not affect the steering wheel controls unless you cut the plug off of the factory harness.

thanks for the reply! I went back to the site and I think I've found one that will work. It's the SWI-X from this link...

If you have a moment, please let me know what you think.

JVC KDLH910...although this particular link didn't mention any specific models, if I remember correctly.

99 lumina ltz (3.8L)
